Tim Sneath is awesome, if you don't read his blog, you should. You really, really should. He's another guy I need to meet up with at MIX and get his autograph or something. I remember last year when Filipe Fortes quit the Avalon team and recommended everyone start reading Tim's blog. I was already reading Tim's stuff cause Fil didn't blog worth crap, but I digress. Here are Tim's last three posts, all of which you should read.
- How Did We Come Up With Silverlight? - Some of the alternatives before they came up with Silverlight, yeah right. Still funny though.
- Silverlight Redux: Listening to Feedback... - A couple good comments about the goals and directions of Silverlight. This is just the tip of the iceburg, more to come I'm sure.
- Introducing Expression Media Encoder - Now this looks very cool, but then again, most things look cool when you're primary tool is a text editor. I'd like to put this in the hands of our new interactive designer (video/film guru) at Pop Art and get some feedback from him. That probably won't happen until after MIX, and maybe it can be a topic of discussion for the PDXUX some time in July or September.
