I decided to take Tyler outside and let him play in the back yard tonight. It was getting late and I was tired of sitting in a chair, so I decided to go lay on the grass. Wow! That was nice. I just laid down on my back, right there in the middle of the back yard. That was sooo comfortable, nothing like laying on the floor of our living room (which even has new carpet).
As I was lying on the grass, looking at the sky, watching the clouds go by, I realized that it has been years since I have actually done that, and that this had to have been the first time in Oregon I've ever taken that luxury. Wow. I tried to get Tyler to join me in this special occassion, but he would have nothing to do with it. Some day he'll learn...
