I really enjoy watching and listening to what is happening with each candidate as the two parties are selecting their nominees. I've got some family in Arizona who keeps encouraging me with their pro-Romney paraphernalia. I don't mind them sending it to me, I think it is great that they are so active in this process. I like Romney. I like him better than all the other Republican candidates. Unfortunately Oregon's primaries aren't held until May 20th, and by that time it's already pretty settled as far as who the nominees are going to be. However, I wouldn't vote for Romney even if he was nominated.
Don't get me wrong, I really like him. I like listening to him and agree with a lot that he says, not everything, but a lot. You see, I'm more of a conservative-ish democrat, and I'm really having a hard time deciding right now between Obama and Hillary. I like listening to Barack. He's smart and he's straight up with his answers. He's optimistic, and maybe a tad bit unrealistitc, but we need someone like that. I have this horrible fear that if Obama is elected there would be at least one assination attempt within the first year of his presidency. Most likely it would be by some Aryrian Nation psychopath, and thank goodness they aren't too smart. And I digress...
So yes, I like Barack, but I'm leaning more towards Hillary. I'm not exactly sure why. I guess no candidate has given me enough reason to support him over her. But enough about politics. I still need to finish my Restyle contest entry for MIX.
